Peter Pan is based upon the delightful story by J.M. Barrie about a mischievous boy who can fly and never grows up. He lives on the island of Neverland as the leader of the Lost Boys. In Edwardian London, Wendy Darling mesmerizes her brothers every night with bedtime tales of swordplay, swashbuckling, and the fearsome Captain Hook. One night, Peter Pan flies into their nursery and leads them over moonlit rooftops through a galaxy of stars and to the lush jungles of Neverland. Wendy and her brothers join Peter and the Lost Boys in an exhilarating life -- free of grown-up rules -- while also facing the inevitable showdown with Hook and his bloodthirsty pirates.

The album includes two versions of every song, one with guide vocals and one with instrumental accompaniment only - totaling 28 tracks. Tracks 1-14 contain guide vocals; tracks 15-28 contain accompaniment only. This allows the performer to learn a song by singing along with the vocals and music, then to practice their technique accompanied only by the background tracks. All Stage Stars albums are re-recorded by actors and actresses and are in the original show keys and tempos.
