Again a welcome addition to anyone's vocal library. Well presented and well organized. This opera is again one of Rossini's operas that has had many publications and hardly a one of them contains the same music. Arias are changed, recitatives missing, accompaniment wrong, all sorts of mistakes. Well...

, this edition fixes all that, and finally we get an edition that really reflects the genius of Rossini. I am so glad, myself, that musicologists are going out of their way to prepare these critical editions. They are real eye-openers when it comes to the great works out there.

The vocal score is excellent, clear and concise. Instrumental entrances are indicated as well as an accurate numbering of scenes. Great resource!
