  • February 26, 2006 Careful: Another MMO Tin Ear Recording

    I'm not sure why MMO won't correct this problem, or even warn you, but several of their recordings were made in "concert tune." This means that your piano will sound gratingly sharp -- by about half a step -- when playing along with the orchestra. It's too bad, because...

    the Odrich arrangements are quite good (just as they are on all the other Odrich/MMO releases).

    Very enjoyable, nice piano arrangement.I think that good knowledge of opera is essential in order to follow the orchestra and might be too much for a beginner but easy for intermediate.
