I'm an experienced drummer in my thirties. My background is mostly playing in Variety bands/wedding bands/concert bands/rock. If your looking to sharpen your Jazz chops, this is an excellent product to buy. It's not beginner stuff but at the same time it's not something...

that's too difficult to attain. Anyone who is close to an intermediate level of above can sound good playing this stuff. The sky is the limit. You get a chance to swing, play some latin, brush the brushes, and drum duel with the master. I have a four track recorder at home which is an awesome way to practice with these products. Listen, if you want to sharpen your jazz chops, this product is worth the money. It's recorded with today's technoloy so it sounds good, the players are excellent, and it's hip. Your timing will improve and so will your sense of groove. Especially if you record yourself and listen back and make corrections. Good luck.
