  • January 18, 2009 Delightful transcription

While not exactly accurate to the recordings, I believe this rendering of the music is close enough to be appreciated by anyone who truly enjoys the music of A Fine Frenzy. It must be noted that some vocals from the recordings are not entirely/accurately notated. One must realize that...

many an artist takes liberties on his own melodies, so what we hear on CD/radio may not be exactly what he has written down.

This book is meant for people who want to play the music notes of the vocals...i found it uninteresting and immature. i wanted the piano accomaniment, but this was nothing like that at all.

This music sounds very similar to the actual recordings. Since the artist wrote many of the songs for the piano it is true to the songs. They are all very fun to play!

  • April 08, 2008 Elton...step aside

Ok, I'd be the first to admit that Elton John's piano music and melodies have always been close to perfection, if not actual perfection...then along comes "Almost lover". A song like this makes one glad to be born. Ginty - NH
