This is Victor Labenske's first piano solo with Alfred Publishing Company. He delivers a piece with fresh sounds and instant appeal. Patterns abound, many of them utilizing a five-note range, making the piece easy to learn and to memorize. The left hand must cross over the right many times throughout and skill is required to play the right-hand harmonic intervals legato. Careful listening will help create sensitive phrase endings. Adults and teenagers alike will have no trouble creating their own ocean dream through the lyrical sounds of this solo.
