O Lux Beata Trinitas
Organ - Early Intermediate
Composed by Tim Attride. Christian. Sheet Music Single. 2 pages. Published by Tim Attride (S0.103281).
Item Number: S0.103281
The next in the "series" of meditations on various plainchant melodies, this is set for the Trinity season. Played, ideally, in a very elastic manner, it allows the player time to substitute fingers - or even hold the front of Swell notes with a spare thumb - in order to play all the written notes. References to the original tune are played throughout this 3-minute piece which ends calmly, if not on a completely resolved chord. The recording is from a practice session at Canterbury Cathedral and, with apologies, contains a little more environmental noise than I was aware of at the time.
