These are the easiest hymn arrangements for organ that I've come across. It's nice to have something to turn to when I don't have a lot of practice time, or when the meeting is a little late starting and I need something extra for prelude. Simple melody...

with harmony and Very easy pedal (sometimes only 2 or 3 notes).

This was a difficult book to find for my son who is taking organ lessons. I was happy to find it through sheetmusicplus. It took awhile to receive it after ordering. My son is now using it and enjoying this book. Thanks

  • February 25, 2008 Great tool for beginning church organists!

As a ward organist who doesn't have/make time to practice much (but should), I LOVE this book. I use it for prelude music virtually every Sunday. The pedaling is so simple for many of the songs that you probably don't have to practice ahead of time (yet...

you still get that three-voice sound because you have a hand on the swell, a hand on the great, and a note or two in the pedal). The arrangements are all very nice too.
