The product is high quality, with a laminated cover that should last for many years. The music itself was just what I wanted. My only criticism is that it was very pricey for a two-page piece of music.

I bought this because I heard it as background music in the recent PBS/Burns World War 2 documentary. I forget the episode it occurred in though. it was playing under a story by Daniel K. Inouye, Senator from Hawaii.

    Difficulty Level:
  • November 19, 2007 Nimrod Thirteenth Variation form Enigma Variation

I have always loved Vaughan Williams' Enigma Variations. It's one of my favorite works. The thirteenth variation, called "Nimrod", I like the best. I heard it played in a piano version as bacground music in Ken Burns' "War"--World War II--on PBS. It was played in virtually every...

segment of the miniseries. As a pianist, I had to have it!!! Thanks to Sheetmusicplus.com, I got it! It took a bit of scrounging, but you had it. Best of all, it is arranged by the composer, so it couldn't be better. It is deceptively difficult to play well, which is why I designated it for advanced pianists. It's slow, and doesn't sound particularly difficult, but it has considerable difficulties in fingering and interpretation. But for anyone who loves the original, go for it!
