The melody instrument part is appropriate for violin, viola, flute, clarinet, oboe, etc.
This arrangement has three verses; it begins in the key of Db major and modulates to Eb major for the third verse. The harp accompaniment is chords and gentle arpeggiation, with a few glissandos. There are some pedal changes, but never more than one per measure. The C instrument part ranges from Db above middle C to Eb an octave above middle C and follows the hymn's original melody.
