I am a piano teacher. I get all my students to use this book after their first year of lessons. I like it because it has songs about the real meaning of Christmas. It has simplified the sometimes difficult Christmas songs. However The binding IS very stiff so I take...

it all apart, cut a 1/2 " off the top and bottom, put holes in it and put it in a ring binder. This will protect it for years and make it useable for kids.

This book is a wonderful resource for beginning piano students. The arrangements are suitable for beginning to early intermediate students (no key signatures with more than 2 sharps/flats). There is a nice mix of sacred and secular carols. I wish the binding were better. The pages are poorly glued...

in, and some of them are already separating from the binding after only 2-3 weeks of use. It's a huge disappointment, given the higher cost of this book. I'd rate it 5 stars if the book held together.
