This is a great collection as far as the choice of pieces is concerned. THe only real problem is that the pieces are heavily edited. It is impossible to tell what the composer originally wrote vs. what the editor has added. Willard Palmer, Lynn Freeman Olson, and Maurice Hinson have...

put out similar books through Alfred under the title "Essential Piano Repertoire" that are MUCH better as far as the editing is concerned. I would recommend purchasing one of those over this volume.
