One or two of these arrangements were pretty good, but most of them started with the classical music, jumped into the hymn, then ended with the classical music. Some of them didn't even blend very well together. One or two rang of P.D.Q. Bach. It left me...

thinking, "Why not just play the original composition?"

the title song in this collection is the best, but the other selections seemed contrived because the transition wasn't smooth, just stop one and start the other. i would not perform these in church myself but on the plus side, the music is pretty and unique.
