Lyman (A0.921309).2016 ArrangeMe Competiton: This lovely finger style instrumental jazz arrangement for SOLO ukulele is intermediate to advanced and has both notation and tablature (tabs). The arrangement has a 4-bar introduction to get everyone in the mood for romance before you begin to play. The chords above the notation are the positions to hold your left hand during execution, rather than standard first position chords. It is suggested that you play the piece rubato while you practice moving between the positions. At first glance it appears more difficult than it actually is. Learn it one bar at a time and then string them all together, and you'll discover a flow in the way the arrangement is crafted. Jazz bass can be added to this arrangement easily, but the arrangement also stands well on its own. This is my instrumental tribute to the one and only Erroll Garner.
