Composed by Robert Collister. Instructional. Individual part. 28 pages. Robert Collister #368241. Published by Robert Collister (A0.827109).

There has always been a lack of musical pieces for the beginning to intermediate bassoon player. Therefore, after thirty plus years of teaching bassoon I have written these sixteen etudes that focus on melody, rhythm and musicianship. These etudes use alternate fingerings, key changes, different articulations and meter changes, which will help develop the students musicianship. They are fun to play and at the same time very instructive. You do not need to be a bassoon player to teach from these studies. As with the series I have written, "Melodic Lesson Series for Bassoon," these pieces will help the student enjoy playing the bassoon and give them an overall appreciation of music.
