  • September 08, 2011 Wonderful!

Great selection of old dances and tunes ranging in difficulty level from easy to intermediate. Even after one 'grows out' of this book, the pieces will remain enjoyable to read or to warm up with.

  • July 13, 2008 good for beginners

This book is very nice for a beginner on the recorder who is looking for more than "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". I bought this quite a while ago and am now more advanced, but have greatly enjoyed the variety it adds to my repertoire!

  • March 24, 2008 Here is Great Variety

I am just beginning to play the recorder, so I was happy to see a book with so many pieces packaged together and offered at such a reasonable price. It will be a while before I become familiar with the total offering, but it certainly looks promising.

This collection has easy to read, historically accurate, simple, lovely solos that are great for Madrigal dinners, early music performances or expanding your general recorder literature.
