    excellent book really is note for note.Impressed to see Moon's playing on paper but not a song that really sums up his playing entirely.wud hav liked to see "Bargain" transcribed.why doesn't JOE BERGAMINI DO A DRUM TECHNIQUES OF THE WHO BOOK!!!!!!!!!

    well i can't say really say a bad thing about this book.it contains some great drummers and transcriptions and some of my favourites Bonham,Moon and Gadd.As far as I can see the Transcriptions are PERFECT.Just Wish there was more of this particularly Bonham and Moon...

  • January 16, 2004 Good book...

    It's hard to find sheet music for WHATEVER instrument that is actually hard to play nowadays. I have to search long and hard and spend countless dollars for accurate sheet music that can further me as a musician. This is one of my favorite books for drumming. The songs...

    that he includes are somewhat obscure (you aren't going to play "Who are you" or "Good Times Bad Times" etc.), but he does aim at trying to hit certain songs that encapsulate the drummer. And he nailed every single note. Trust me, it's not something that you're gonna be able to play in one sitting (unless you're a virtuoso - which I am not). Granted, some of the songs are easier than others, but the songs that are easy are really unique to how they were played (i.e. play it with two sticks in each hand). I gave it four stars because I thought this would look like a review by someone who was paid to do so if I gave it five. It deserves five though...
