  • March 20, 2007 Great Collection of Fingerstyle Rags

Includes well-known Ragtime standards such as "The Entertainer," "Maple Leaf Rag," "Georgia Camp Meeting," and "Harlem Rag." The notation is clear and easy to read, although I did spot a few minor typo's. The hand positions and pace of these tunes are definitely for the intermediate/advanced fingerstyle...

player. (For example, I have been working on "Georgia Camp Meeting" for several weeks and have not yet mastered it all at full speed.) I heartily recommend this book for fingerstyle players and Rag enthusiasts who are looking for a stretch and a challenge.
