"May your life be filled with song. And may your friends all sing along." These two simple sentences begin the heartfelt text of this lovely choral ballad. The melodies are equally beautiful in their simplicity. Easy piano accompaniment and conventional vocal writing make this piece an excellent choice for any concert. Use it as a concert closer throughout the year; by spring it will be a meaningful work for your graduating students.

I sang this song several times in my young choir group. I am among the oldest members, and this song works well for the youngest members, who are around six or seven, and the oldest members enjoy singing it. It's nice, not too fast, and provides an excellent message...

, especially to end a concert with. Simple, but not boring.

We sang this song for my 8th grade graduation (so it was obviously a beginning piece). It was so touching and I still remember all the lyrics to it.
