    Difficulty Level:
  • May 15, 2007 Supurb Collection

All the pieces in this collection are of an equal and appropriate level for late intermediate/early advanced pianist. It includes Racmaninoff's c# minor Prelude, a Liszt Liebestraume (a nice inclusion), Clair de Lune, Chopin's Fantasie-Impromtu and Revolutionary Etude plus the Brahms Rhapsodie Op. 70, no. 2...

. The unexpected and welcome choices not found in most collections are the Brahms Hungarian Dance no. 5 and the Sibelius Romance Op 24, 9. This is a challenging collection any advanced player will enjoy - it's a lifetime of music.
