  • March 14, 2012 These are not "too easy."

Those of you commenting that these pieces are somehow "too easy" for you... ...are missing the point. And missing the fun.

  • September 26, 2006 Good for learners

I feel this book is excellent for use in teaching someone to play tuba while keeping their interest in the instrument. However, the title should be altered. I am a college level musician, and my students, who are 6-9th grades, all benefit from this book.

  • February 26, 2006 Great but...

I'm in grade 9 concert band and wind ensemble, but after i bought this i learned i was above this books level. It was too easy! It might be the fact that im up to level 5 in sight reading and everything, but I suppose it would be good...

for a begginner, maybe in grade 7 or 8, but if your in high school dont count on it to be a life saver
