SATB, 0222, timpani, organ (contrabass ad lib)
Composed by Franz Schubert (1797-1828). Edited by Klaus Burmeister. This edition: Urtext. Choral. Full score. With Text Language: Latin. Duration 26 minutes.

Item Number: PE.P10857-S

With Text Language: Latin. Choral.

This mass was originally intended for use in Sunday services, and can be performed with only a few trained singers, string players and an organist, but this new urtext edition by Klaus Burmeister includes the parts that were added later by Schubert himself (the trumpets and timpani), and (years after his death) by his brother Ferdinand (oboes/ clarinets and bassoons), giving three performance options with regard to scoring. Burmeister based his research on autograph copies of the score and parts held in Vienna, Klosterneuberg and Lund.

(Lat.) Full score. New Urtext edition. See EP 10858 for the vocal score.
