This creative work combines the style of a march and a mariachi band. Opening with a crisp march-like style, shortly thereafter the piece unfolds and takes on a Latin Flavor. The maraca and clave players are essential in establishing the groove. With contrasting A and B themes, the composition also has a section that enables different groups of musicians to perform a two-measure soli.
