Concert Band - Grade 2
Composed by Gustav Holst (1874-1934). Arranged by John Moss. MusicWorks Grade 2. Score and parts. Published by Hal Leonard (HL.4001757).

Item Number: HL.4001757

Here's a rare gem from the band literature archives, rescored with a more practical instrumentation and part writing. Originally taken from an orchestral work entitled Two Songs Without Words, “Marching Song” is vintage Holst style, tuneful and engaging. John Moss' new version makes an ideal program number for concert band.

This song reminds me of when i was a kid. It sounds wonderful and traditionally Gustav Holst. It is also very fun to conduct.

This piece sounds great, but it is much too easy. A fiend of mine who was in early first year band can play this with ease.
