    A simplistic arrangement with an 'unsympathetic' key change to the final verse. It can be an effective concert piece as the melody is SO beautiful. But it needs a bit ot immagination in rehearsal - the addition of some ornamentation (viz a viz Joan Sutherland) REALLY enhances performance.

    A simplistic arrangement that can be improved upon by the addition of ornamentation used in the original Balfe version. My Ladies' Choir learned it in one go and like the melody very much. The modulation used from v1 to v2 is not in keeping with the genre and therefore we...
