    Newington, CT
    Difficulty Level:
  • January 29, 2008 Creativity and Technic in One Book

Projects is really three books in one. Section one of each level provides sight reading and transposing work. Section two teaches composition, improvising, and harmony. Section three provides technical studies to complement the method. Section one of the first book is a bit different, in that it offers improvising games...

. I've never been quite sure what the authors are intending to accomplish in that section. Books 2 and 3 of this series offer some of the best musicianship work I've seen. The multikey work is some of the best I've seen.
