In this arrangement the vocal ranges have been adapted to fit the instrument ranges of the trumpet, horn in F and tenor trombone with a simple change of key while still capturing the haunting beauty of Gabrieli’s counterpoint and harmonic language. Editorial articulations and dynamics have also been included to closely match the declaration of the original Italian text.
