Referenced song is good teaching tool. Started on guitar several months ago. Trying to obtain as singles with guitar chords: Amor(Amour), La Rosita, Cielito Lindo and Southern Nights.

  • June 13, 2000 NOT Bobby Darin's Version

I have been frantically searching for Bobby Darin's version of "Mack the Knife". The only one I had been able to find was the original version from "Three Penny Opera". Although a fine version, that version is NOT jazz. I needed the jazz version. I was thrilled to finally...

find this listing, only to be disappointed upon it's arrival. It is the version from "Three Penny Opera." As I have stated, there is nothing wrong with that version, but it is very different. It is NOT jazz and it is NOT the way Bobby Darin sung it. The rhythms and lyrics are very different. I felt this listing was extremely misleading. The listing bills it as Bobby Darin's version, but the sheet music says nothing about Bobby Darin at all. It mentions him in no way. It bills itself only as "Mack the Knife" from "Three Penny Opera". I was very, VERY disappointed!
