A beautiful song, which extends the best of your choir. A marvelous sound. You have to sing it!!!!

This song is truly gorgeous. It is one of my favorites. The only thing is you have to get the timing and the volume and intensity down because if its off, it ruins it. good luck!

This Selection I did my 8th grade year... Comparing to the other Eric Whitacre pieces this is a great piece to get students started on these types of "cluster" piece.. This amazing selection is easy and yet so great to listen and perform.

Mr. Whitacre's "Lux Aurumque" soars through his use of rich suspensions and minimalism. If only one song can be performed by your choir this year, this should be it. Though it appears simmple on paper (and it does), purity of straight-tone and tonal integrity cannot be overemphasized.
