What a great pair of songs from the legendary Broadway musical 42nd Street. Bette Midler made "Lullaby of Broadway" a hit in the 1970s, but it's been around since the golden era of Hollywood. Jay's arrangement opens with a touch of "Forty-Second Street." Two swinging standards arranged with style. This Soundtrax CD provides audio tracks of accompaniment only, as well as full performance recordings of both the SATB and the SSA arrangement.

The CD I purchased is great, and I love having the words sung, then just the accompaniment. My only negative comment is that I think the actual sheet music should come with the order. I don't have the words to look at, and sometimes it's hard to understand...

    what the singers are singing.
