Composed by Michael Praetorius. Arranged by Kristine Johanek. Christmas,Classical. Score. 3 pages. Kristine Johanek #423629. Published by Kristine Johanek (A0.707876).

This arrangement of "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming" (original German title "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen") is written for 18 bells from a standard two octave set of bells, tone chimes or hand chimes. The shifting meters and interweaving voices make this song a challenge for early intermediate to intermediate players. There are no special techniques used, allowing this piece to be played on tone chimes and hand chimes as well as on handbells. This piece times out at between two and two and a half minutes.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
