An early star of the rock and roll era, Lloyd Price had a string of popular Rand B singles in the late 50's and early 60's. In 1959 he released one of his biggest hits, Stagger Lee, which was based on an early 20th century blues song. That same year he scored another hit with Personality. Chubby Checker will forever be remembered for his 1960 hit The Twist and its follow-up Let's Twist Again, as well as the dance craze that accompanied both songs.
