I bought this book because I was looking for 2 specific songs: Honky Tonk Woman and You Got the Silver. Unfortunately Honky Tonk Woman is not on this album, but that's OK. Most of this book's music is in open tunings (open E & G) and they show the...

required tunings and tempo. The tab is excellent for what I'm doing. I am even learning little slide parts from other songs just for the fun and practice of it.

The Alfred Authentic tabs are the best. They are unabridged, and include parts for all guitars, three of them in some cases. The music is easy to follow. Keith Richards' licks are deceptively simple, but very tasty. Nothing is left out in these tabs. I would choose Alfred Authentic tabs...

over any other publisher. The Alfred Classic Album Editions are very high quality overall.

  • September 05, 2008 The best guitar tab for this classic LP

From the three soulful chords that kick off "Gimme Shelter" to the equally powerful, yet more complex "You Can't Always Get What You Want," this great 'Classic Album Edition' contains the precise detail that every serious guitarist will be looking for. It even includes precise capo placement and open...

tunings for each song. The final song is an absolute pleasure to play! Only one small complaint: the songs aren't arranged in the exact order in the book as they are on the original album. Still, a highly recommended guitar tab book!
