Published by Matt Dury (S0.65129).This is a setting of the sixth reading in the tradition '9 lessons and carols' format, scored for Soprano/Alto choir and accompanying ensemble. There is an orchestral accompaniment mp3 (available on SMP), produced in a studio environment with live musicians, to accompany the music if you do not have instrumentalists. I wrote the piece for an independent school choir in 2013, to solve the perennial issue of finding fresh material for our '9 lessons' service each Autumn! It is suitable for school children or church choirs, though some of the instrumental parts are a little more challenging in places.
