Legend

Legend composed by David O'Fallon. Orchestra. String Orchestra. String Orchestra. Grade 3. Conductor Score & Parts. 124 pages. Published by Alfred Music (AP.18550).

We can't think of any better way to say it - This piece ROCKS! Loaded with driving rhythms and special effects, you won't believe that a piece sounding this sophisticated could play this easy! Using standard orchestral techniques to create a true contemporary sound, this piece will provide a powerful and motivational contrast on your next concert program.
List/syllabus: ISSMA String 2011-12.

  • April 22, 2007 Wow. Powerful.

I recently played this song (on the cello) with the Honors orchestra of Jordan School District (where select players from each middle school play together). I found that this song was very intriguing when played well. It's a very powerful song with a lot of feeling in it. I...

love this song- it's extremely catchy and full of depth.

  • September 21, 2006 I love this song.

My 8th Grade Orchestra went to Festival and Tour last year, and Legend was one of the pieces we played. I believe that Legend was one of the reasons why we recieved 1st Place. It is a really cool song, and I want to play it again!
