Lady Be Good - Gershwin Songs In the Style of Ella Fitzgerald (Karaoke CDG) composed by George Gershwin (1898-1937). Standards. Karaoke CDG. Published by Pocket Songs (PS.PSCDG6102).

In 1959, Ella Fitzgerald embarked on a highly ambitious project: a five album set devoted entirely to the songs of George and Ira Gershwin. Backed by the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Fitzgerald sang 59 of the pair's compositions in her inimitable style. Ira Gershwin later commented that he had 'never known how good our songs were until I heard Ella sing them.' With great care and affection we have recreated ten songs from that remarkable album with our very own big band. Step into Ms. Fitzgerald's shoes and sing these great Gershwin standards!

Each Pocket Songs PSCDG album contains a complete performance with a professional vocalist as well as the karaoke tracks of each song, for the at-home performer. CDG discs can be played on a regular CD player but require a CDG player to see the graphics.
