The fun thing about La Bamba is that it's been sung and played in every combination possible, and it's still cool.  La Bamba is a Mexican folk song that was adapted by Ritchie Valens into a rock 'n roll tune.  This flute trio version is, not surprisingly, not rock 'n roll, but if you wanted one, you wouldn't look for it in a flute trio anyway.  The song remains recognizable...just "fluted" up bit!

This arrangement can be played by either 3 C flutes or 2 C flutes and alto.
