  • December 05, 2008 A great musical collection of Kismet

It was just what I was looking for, and I was very pleased how promptly it arrived in the mail. I bought the song book for the music and words, particularly for "And this is my Beloved", and "Stranger in Paradise" that were sung at our 50th wedding anniversary celebration...

Being a lover of Forest and Wright's creative output using classical composers to create musical theatre that appeals to a broad public (I like Bach, Bizet and Berlioz too) I'm really in hogs heaven playing this Borodin music. Makes me feel all Russian and romantic and well you...

know--it impresses some people that I know how to play the classics. I want to look for Rachmaninoff (sp?) and Gershwin and others simplified a bit too so I can get into that. I will take this and some similar music I get with this company Sheet Music Plus me on a trip soon to europe and asia where I sometimes enjoy just sitting down and tickling the ivories in a bar or restaurant where there's a piano that needs tickling and they can use some enchanting but not intoxicating hoopla.
