There's no better inspiration for a child singer than hearing someone of a similar age sing a song. This book with access to online audio includes 10 great songs from musicals and movie musicals. Besides the vocal performance by a child singer, the companion audio also has a piano accompaniment track for practice. CONTENTS: Candle on the Water (from Pete's Dragon) • Dites-Moi (from South Pacific) • Feed the Birds (from Mary Poppins) • I Won't Grow Up (from Peter Pan) • In My Own Little Corner (from Cinderella) • Let Me Entertain You (from Gypsy) • Maybe (from Annie) • A Spoonful of Sugar (from Mary Poppins) • Who Will Buy? (from Oliver!) • Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah (from Song of the South).

This is the most outstanding book for beginning female vocal students! I have used it for years and it has become a staple in my repertoire for beginning students!

My voice students love this collection. Some ballads, some up tunes, but all have been appealing and easy to learn with the CD. I like my students to hear the voices of young singers who sing well.
