This is a fun piece. My ensemble took it to state in for the Texas State S&E and got a 1. It's not very difficult, but the swing can make it challenging sometime to keep everything perfectly in sync. Look on youtube for a recording of it. Then...

you can get a good feel for the piece.

This music sent us to state! It's not too hard, but it's not too easy either. It's a little difficult because you need to know how to swing it, but once you do, it's fun!

This piece is really fun to play but not to hard to get down good. I rated as Intermediate/advanced because the solos and articulation are harder to get right or perfect...especially if you are taking it to contest. Solos are sooooo much fun.
