In it the character Marietta has cared for the child, Joshua, for 23 years due to her and her husband Hans rescuing him from being killed as a baby. Now the parents will reveal to Joshua the truth of what they did to save him from the State but Marietta is desperately concerned over what his reaction will be. The MP3 is a demo by the composer but is in the key of the sheet music as per the female character. It is best suited to a Mezzo Soprano but could be sung by a soprano or alto.
