Composed by Jerome Savari. Arranged by Paul Wehage. Romantic Period,Standards. 50 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #22513. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.532793).

Jéröme Savari was born in Paris in 1819. He was the Director of the Military Band of the 34ème de Ligne. A friend of Adolphe Sax, his works for the saxophone are among the first for this instrument. In addition to three fantasies for alto saxophone and piano, Savari wrote a series of ensembles which go from duo to octet. His works were published by Sax between 1861 and 1862. He died in 1870. This trio is written in three movements, the first in a simplified "Sonata-allegro" form, the second in a lied form and the third movement in a rondo-form using materials clearly inspired by Bach's Trio Sonatas for organ. The set includes full score and all parts.
