  • April 27, 2011 The Best of Jobim

    This is a great collection of Jobim bossa novas which were very popular in the 1960's. Most notably, "The Girl From Ipanema". They are easy to play, decent accompaniments and lengthy enough to give a satifying performance.

    I was very disappointed with this Music Minus One book. There are numerous errors in notation (like missing beats), and the cheezy synth strings are subpar. Maybe for 1/2 the price it would be worth it, but for $30, you could get something a lot better. Like Aebersold's...
