Composed by James Pierpont. Arranged by Laura Chegwidden. Children,Christmas. Score. 4 pages. Laura Chegwidden #2884999. Published by Laura Chegwidden (A0.812068).

This duet is written for two beginner players, not a beginner and teacher. It's unique in that no teacher is required to play an accompanying part! Each player takes turns playing the melody and accompaniment figures, and both parts have exactly the same difficulty level. This eliminates any fights about the harder part and who gets to play the melody.
Written in the key of C, there are two hand positions in this piece. Each part uses both, but only swaps once halfway through the song. Each part is on a separate page. There are illustrations of the hand positions so that it's easy to see where your hands will go. For more arrangements for two beginners like this one, contact Laura at www.facebook.com/lchegmusic/
