Solo violin and viola parts are needed and offer a nice opportunity for the more advanced player. The colors, sonorities and depth of expression really come to life for string orchestra. I have always loved conducting the arrangement for full orchestra, which enticed me to do this arrangement for strings. I have had great success in performing this as I know you will.
