Written for the composer's ladies sextet at the request of one of his sopranos, this arrangement with piano and bass guitar (or double bass) sets the classic on its ear with a jazz feel. This setting could also be sung SAT as the alto is in a comfortable tenor range. It is also available for SATB voices and SSA voices with alto and tenor saxes.
