This is an excellent buy. Background music is superb as are most of MMO products. You won't be disappointed with this investment.

  • July 26, 2008 Erratum sheets blemish outstanding package

Erratum sheets should not be part of a music package put out by a company that's been around as long as MMO. This is an excellent collection of jazz standards with great accompaniment, but marred by the fact that someone didn't do a good job of editing the...

sheet music. There were also a few incorrect notes in pieces such as When Sunny Gets Blue. This would have easily received five stars without these problems.

  • June 04, 2008 Too Many Rests

As the book is advertised, I purchased it for a Trumpet play along. Some of the numbers are better suited for clarinet. They are in a poor range for trumpet, "What'll I Do" is an example. Most of the songs have too many rests. Other than 4 or 5...

numbers, the number of measures of rest range from 18 to 50. I purchased the book to play rather than listen to the CD.

  • December 24, 2007 enjoyable playing

Good selection and high quality. Background track is on separate CD so no need to skip tracks or turn off one speaker. Good for any woodwind or trumpet.

  • December 15, 2007 Unfinished Business

This book was very poorly written, and I'm not very pleased with it. There were pieces for the Eb instruments that new copies had to be made and inserted because the pieces were incorrectly written, there was a piece in which was written in an octave too low for...

an Eb instrument, and the melody was written wrong for " In A Sentimental Mood." Overall, why buy something when people couldn't have taken the time to do it correctly the first time through? The book had no title cover, but the CD itself was not bad, but was a little hard to follow.
