  • September 04, 2008 know how to read music for quitar and piano

badly bound. the book came apart easily. a little confusing for an intermediate piano player and might be better for a person just interested in playing this music for the quitar.

  • June 14, 2008 JT is an all-time favorite!

I love this book by James Taylor. It is written in a user-friendly style. The chords are true James Taylor. Of course, James make them sound better on his guitar, but they are still fun to play on the piano. "Secret of Life" and "Shed a Little Light" are...

    my favorites right now.

  • February 15, 2008 Shed A Little Light . . .

For Martin Luther King's birthday (actually the Sunday preceeding it), our church choir wanted to do something special. Some of us were familiar with James Taylor's "Shed A Little Light" -- a paean to MLK. I checked online, found the music in the James Taylor (Live) collection at sheetmusicplus...

.com. Our organist/choir director adapted it for our voices a bit, and it was very well-received. It encourages us to try more non-mainstream music for our services!
