Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by John Gibson. Baroque. Saxophone Duet. 19 pages. JB Linear #26133. Published by JB Linear (A0.581728).

J. S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations were first published in 1741 as an Aria and 30 Variations. It was named for Johann Gottlieb Goldberg who was an excellent keyboardist. Most of the variations are in three parts, however, four are in two parts....Variations 7, 17, 20, and 27. Although I have arranged the entire Aria and 30 Variations for woodwind trio, I thought these duos would become useful for pairs of instruments. There are few dynamic markings and ornaments in this edition, so players are encouraged to add what they believe are useful for their performance. This music may be performed either from the score or the separate parts. -John Gibson.
