  • June 25, 2013 This book is brilliant

I got this book six months or so ago, and it is without a doubt my favourite book for Classical Guitar. It is extremely suitable for a beginner classical guitarist and is manageable even for someone like me with little hands.

  • January 23, 2008 Less than I had hoped for

As an advanced intermediate guitarist I found the pieces too simplistic and abbreviated way down below their original scope. Although it is not always the case, my teachers advises to beware of music with tablature. Had the cover page indicated that it was for beginners I would not have purchased...

it. Next time I will read the reviews more carefully.

  • October 24, 2007 GREAT SHORT PIECES TO WORK WITH

THE BACH GUITAR PIECES WERE SHORT AND EASY TO WORK WITH SINCE I HAD NOT PLAYED IN A WHILE AND WAS OUT OF PRACTICE. I LISTENED TO THE RECORDING FIRST TO GET A FEEL FOR THE MUSIC AND PICKED OUT THE ONES I REALLY ENJOYED. SOME OF THE PIECES WERE...

MORE ELEMENTARY LEVEL AND SOME A LITTLE MORE DIFFICUTL BUT THERE WAS A VARIETY OF LEVELS IN THIS BOOK. EARLIER THIS YEAR I HAD THE PLEASURE OF HEARING PEPE ROMERO PERFORM IN NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS AND HE INSPIRED ME TO TAKE UP MY GUITAR AGAIN--I HAVE ORDERED OTHER BOOKS FROM SHEETMUSICPLUS AND ALWAYS GET GOOD RESULTS WITH WHAT I RECEIVE. I ESPECIALLY FIND IT EASY TO WORK WITH MUSIC THAT HAS TABLATURE EVEN THOUGH MY UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES WAS IN MUSIC AND I CAN READ MUSIC. BUT FOR SOMEONE THAT IS JUST STARTING OUT--THE TABLATURES ARE GREAT TO WORK WITH.

  • May 29, 2007 The best introduction to Bach

Great study in melody and harmony for the beginning Bach guitar player. Very pleasing pieces. Great way to build a solid foundation in reading music, counting time, study different voicings and appreciate the divine genius of Bach. A must have for beginning students.
